The BBNaija house is no stranger to shifting alliances, but Kola has now voiced his unease over what he believes is hidden hostility from fellow housemate Jason Jae..

In a candid chat with Imisi, Kola revealed his suspicions. “I feel like Jason doesn’t like me. I think he hates me or maybe he just pretends,” Kola began, before explaining the roots of his doubts. According to him, Jason once admitted that during the auditions he felt unusually “invincible” upon seeing Kola.

Imisi, surprised, asked if they had met earlier. Kola clarified that while he didn’t recognize Jason, Jason remembered him. “When I walked into the room, all the girls were like ‘oh my gosh, who is this guy?’ He said he had never felt that way in his life. He even said that in front of Dede, Doris, and Joanna.”

The unease deepened when Jason, during a house game where contestants were asked to pick two housemates they would evict, chose Kola and Faith. “That moment confirmed it for me,” Kola admitted.

He added that despite an earlier attempt to build a friendly rapport sparked by conversations around Dede, he no longer sees the need to patch things up. “He wanted to talk to me two days ago in the kitchen, and we did. But honestly, I’d rather know my enemies than pretend,” Kola concluded firmly.

Imisi, however, hinted that Jason isn’t the only one to watch. She warned Kola that Bright, whom he considers a friend, might secretly resent him. “Bright hates you, he’s been giving you side eyes. He’s jealous. He’s the boyfriend of Dede’s bestie in the house. Stay away from people like him,” she advised.

Kola, clearly taken aback, defended his bond with Bright but admitted he would tread more carefully. “Bright is my friend,” he insisted, though Imisi pressed him to be more mindful.
