If She Wants to go, She Can Go, I Am Not Going – Zion
Tension is brewing in the Big Brother Naija house, as rumors swirl that Chinwe wants out of the game, unable to stand being with Zion, a partner who, according to whispers, doesn’t support or defend her. However, the reality, as explained by Zion himself, is that he’s had enough of what he describes as Chinwe’s negative energy. Zion, who prefers to spread good vibes, seems ready to call it quits on their relationship. The two entered the game as a pair, Zinwe, meaning if one wants to leave, the other must follow.
Following the morning yoga session, some of the housemates headed to the newly opened gym to blow off steam and discuss the Zinwe situation. The Mbadiwe Twins and Tjay listened intently as Michky of the Radicals expressed how unfortunate it would be for Chinwe to want to leave if Zion still wanted to stay.
In a candid conversation with DJ Flo (Floruish), Zion didn’t hold back. “She’s older than me. She’s more mature than me; she should know how to handle her emotions. You can’t be having beef with your teammate,” Zion said, clearly frustrated. He added, “If she wants to go, she can go. I am not going. Just because we came as a pair doesn’t mean we have to leave as a pair. I can take the Zinwe badge off.”
Chinwe, on the other hand, confided in DJ Flo last night, saying that she has a lot going on outside the house and is ready to exit if necessary. Meanwhile, word travels fast in the house. Before long, Ozee, one half of the Mbadiwe Twins, was already referring to Zion in the past tense during a conversation with Kellyrae. “One thing I liked about Zion is that he was always ready to do any job you gave him. He never argued, no matter the task,” Ozee said. He also added that if Zinwe exits, it might work in their favor in the long run, as Zinwe is a strong contender in the competition.
The Zinwe drama seems to be affecting other relationships in the house as well. In the bedroom, Chizoba from Chekas confronted Ben (Beta) about his lack of seriousness. “You’re not comfortable with uncomfortable conversations. It’s not nice!” she told him.
Meanwhile, Ben was having a lighthearted chat with Rhuthee (Floruish) about her outlook on marriage. She shared that she’s ready for marriage because it means putting your partner first, but when she does tie the knot, she’ll have a prenup and strict terms in place. “Cheating is not a dealbreaker because I’ll cheat back,” she chuckled.
