Big Soso Opens Up on Rift with Dede – BBNaija 2025

When asked by Joanna if she had an issue with Dede, Soso admitted that her feelings only started building up recently.

โ€œBefore a few days ago, I honestly didnโ€™t,โ€ Soso confessed. โ€œBut I have this habit Iโ€™m still working on. If youโ€™re my person and I see someone treating you anyhow, Iโ€™ll carry the matter on my head. That was really the problem.โ€

She pointed to what she described as a โ€œtriangleโ€ involving Jason, Sultana, and Dede. โ€œIโ€™m naturally closer to Sultana, not really because of friendship but because weโ€™re from the same place. But to be honest, I donโ€™t like how much she enjoys gisting. I prefer going directly to the person rather than sitting around discussing them.โ€

Soso went on to explain why the situation cut deeper for her. โ€œI see Jason and Koyin as my people. Koyin especially feels like family to me. So when that whole โ€˜fishโ€™ incident happened, even though they didnโ€™t take it personally, aunty here (she pointed to herself) carried it on her head. That was wrong because I didnโ€™t even give Dede a chance to explain. And really, it wasnโ€™t my business. It was after I reacted that my eyes cleared.โ€

According to Soso, her frustration was also linked to earlier observations in the kitchen. โ€œWhen I was in charge of cooking, I noticed she didnโ€™t usually help out, but once the food was ready, she was among the first to show up. Things like that irritate me. I never got the chance to talk to her about it. So it wasnโ€™t just one thing โ€” it was a buildup, and eventually, it became a trigger.โ€
