“You’re going lower” Dede Confronts Jason Jae

You know that feeling when you’re already trying to keep the peace, and someone casually drops a bomb that sets everything ablaze? Well that was Dede’s day.

Apparently, Jason told Doris about something he really shouldn’t have, that Dede stayed on the bed Kola had laid..

And for Dede, that was crossing a line. Dede wasn’t having it.

“I don’t even want to know why you said it, because I had to have an entire conversation just to confirm you did. It’s like you saw a burning fire and decided to pour fuel on it. You told her mouth was sharp that she can’t keep things to herself. And tell me, how exactly was that supposed to help? What was it meant to do?”

Jason’s reply? “It just felt right.”

Dede doubled down “Well, it wasn’t. You have no plan to stop this from spiraling, do you? This isn’t just about us. I’m setting aside my personal feelings to focus on what’s right and wrong and I hope you do too. Because if it ever comes to the point where it looks like I’m the problem, I’m telling you now: I’m not. I never will be.”

She made it clear, she didn’t want any part in whatever petty competition or power struggle might be going on.

This is not why we’re here. This is not why we have whatever we have going on. You’re intruding in a way I don’t like, and I don’t appreciate it. You’re going lower.”

Jason tried to explain. There was something about Kola being “in the mix” that made things weird for him. He admitted he couldn’t control the feeling, even though he didn’t like it.

When the “room conversation” came up earlier, Jason said it felt like the first time they were even having that talk and it left him unsettled.

“I was in the room thinking could it be because of Kola? Because he made the bed? Is that the reason? I didn’t want to have this conversation because, well, we’re just friends and it would sound odd. But the thought still came, and I tried to shut it down.”

It was a conversation full of tension, misunderstandings, and unspoken emotions, the kind where you’re not sure whether things will calm down or crack further.

One things for sure, though: when feelings, friendships, and a touch of rivalry collide, even the smallest spark can set the whole thing ablaze.
