Big Brother Mzansi (BBMzansi) 2022 Johnnie Walker Task Winner

The Housemates took on another task today, this time sponsored by Johnnie Walker. It asked them to develop a number of concepts centered on the topic “Keep Walking.” After being given paints, notebooks, and pencils, the Housemates (who had been separated into two teams, “Connoisseurs” and “Shades of Grey,” based on numbers drawn from a hat) were instructed to develop their concept and apply it to paint one of two “Striding Man” statues that were waiting in the Garden.

After some consideration on each team’s part, they set to work creating their sculptures. There appeared to be certain aspects that they both shared — South African flag colors could be spotted on both of their monuments – but they tackled the topic in slightly different ways. The Housemates were summoned to make their presentation to Biggie after much splashing of paint and exaggerated analogies.

The Connoisseurs went first, with Nthabii introducing himself as their captain. She stumbled a little and made an odd error when it came to remembering that the slogan was “Keep Walking,” but she still gave a detailed explanation of how they executed their concept, including how the base represented a journey – one that they will never stop walking, purple pants that represent the brand’s “royal” taste, and rainbow-colored cuffs that represent the LGBTQI+ community.

Terry, as captain of Shades of Grey, then gave her speech. Their monument featured a white footprint on its back, which symbolized the hardships that individuals face and how they fight back. The South African flag was also used since it represents them all as a group.

After then, it was time to wait for Biggie’s decision — the Task’s winner is still up in the air. Keep an eye on this place.
