Deji Starts His BBNaija Secret Task

Amaka was ecstatic when the Level 2 Housemates returned from the Arena after she and Groovy had won their Task. To the joy of her housemates, who have frequently praised her food, she spent the majority of the evening singing and cooking.

Kess told Modella that he is from a polygamous family and that he wants to take her as a second wife while some of the Level 2 Housemates were gathered in the kitchen. He was sharply corrected by Modella, who also reminded him of his wedding. Kess, who appeared to have carefully considered his strategy, assured Modella that since he is likeable, he will approach her family. Daniella joined the conversation and reminded Kess that he is married as well.

The Level 1 Housemates, on the other hand, made the most of their time in the Garden by reliving amusing and intriguing incidents from their past. Chomzy warned Chichi about males while braiding Rachel’s hair and related a harrowing experience that one of her friends had in Lagos. The Level 1 Housemates continued to sing and dance in the yard for the remainder of the time, and Bella and Sheggz took advantage of the occasion to cuddle. They appeared appreciative when Biggie called them back into the House because they immediately started cooking.

Deji and Doyin went into the bedroom where Deji proceeded to put his Secret Task in motion. He started complaining about his fellow Housemates’ rowdiness and told Doyin that he wanted to go to Level 2. He said that he is used to living by himself even though he is from a polygamous family. “I’ve grown uncomfortable in Level 1 and could do with a change of scenery. The fights, and being in everyone’s face the whole time, is taking a toll on me and I would prefer to be in Level 2,” he said.

Doyin tried to talk him out of his decision by saying that the situation in Level 2 is not better, since Amaka confided in her about wanting to be swapped to Level 1, because her Level 2 Housemates are constantly fighting. She advised Deji to ask Biggie for a switchover, but cautioned him against being ungrateful.  “You have to find a way to make the most of being in Level 1 because you are not guaranteed a better experience in Level 2”.
