Following a soothing mindfulness exercise held in the All Stars arena during a tense Friday morning, Head of House (HoH) and Finalist Ilebaye gathered the housemates to get ready for an upcoming presentation regarding their wager. Tensions flared when Soma, who was napping on the couch and complaining about fatigue from the previous night’s party, and Adekunle, who was frustrated with the instructions, challenged Ilebaye’s call for cooperation.

“Baye, we need quiet,” exclaimed Ceec,” exclaimed Ceec, her patience wearing thin with Ilebaye’s instructions. However, the most astonishing twist in the situation occurred when Mercy Eke, known for her usually composed demeanor, shouted at Ilebaye to be quiet and then walked away, leaving everyone in shock.

One of the main points of contention among the housemates revolved around Ilebaye’s role as HoH. Many felt that she had failed to be a team player when others held the position in the past. Now that she was the HoH herself, giving out orders, it didn’t sit well with some of her fellow housemates. It seemed like a classic case of “what goes around comes around.”

The housemates’ frustrations had their roots in a clash that occurred on Day 59 when Ilebaye and Venita clashed during a sponsored task. Venita believed that Ilebaye wasn’t actively participating in task preparation but was instead indulging herself with food. In a retaliatory move, Venita, when Ilebaye called for the housemates to prepare for the wager, chose to take her sweet time baking and eating, seemingly to pay Ilebaye back for what she perceived as a lack of teamwork.
