Kola Pulls Back from Dede, Says He’s Done Chasing Mixed Signals
The emotional tension in Biggie’s house continues to rise, and this time it’s Kola who’s found himself at a crossroads — tangled in uncertainty, frustration, and unrequited energy when it comes to his connection with Dede.
Opening up to Imisi and Isabella, Kola admitted he’s feeling increasingly sidelined. Though Dede has made it clear that she has someone waiting outside the house, her close ties with other male housemates have left Kola uneasy.
“She spends more time with everyone else, and I’m just there,” he vented.
Isabella, never one to mince words, didn’t hold back — bluntly calling Dede a “game player.” Imisi followed up with some tough love, advising Kola to stop giving his energy to situations that aren’t serving him: “Respect yourself and step back.”
And it seems he’s ready to do just that. In separate chats with Mide and later Bright Morgan, Kola confessed he’s planning to emotionally detach from Dede. While Mide didn’t say much, she did mention that Dede was open to having a conversation — though whether that will mend the rift remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, Isabella stirred the pot further, revealing that Otega believes Dede is only pretending to be tough — masking a more vulnerable side. But Kola isn’t buying it anymore. Frustrated, he told Isabella, “I’m too old for this emotional rollercoaster.”
In a heart-to-heart with Bright Morgan, Kola laid his feelings bare, admitting that beyond the drama, what he really wants is a genuine connection in the house. When asked if he plans to cut off Dede completely, Kola said no — but he’s also not going to keep stretching himself for someone who won’t meet him halfway.
For now, he’s choosing self-respect over mixed signals — and in Biggie’s house, that might be the smartest game move yet.
