Onyeka and Shaun Discuss Tense House Dynamics and the “Triangle” Drama

In a conversation filled with tension and introspection, Onyeka opened up to Shaun about her unease regarding recent developments in the house, particularly involving a potential love triangle.

“I’m scared, ehh,” Onyeka admitted, voicing her anxiety. Shaun, curious, asked, “Scared of what?”

“The whole situation, nau,” Onyeka replied, referring to the complex dynamic brewing among herself, Shaun, and Wanni. Shaun, trying to reassure her, said, “What’s there to be scared of? I thought you said you cleared it up anyway.”

Onyeka sighed, reflecting on the situation she had tried hard to avoid. “You know that was something I avoided a lot, only to now come back here,” she explained. Shaun, dismissing her concerns, remarked, “You want to be there. All those things are just stories.”

But Onyeka clarified that her fears were more specific. “Not with everybody nau, with you and your situation,” she said, alluding to the tension that arose between them, Wanni, and herself the previous day. “It’s scary to me,” Onyeka confessed.

Shaun downplayed the issue, insisting there was nothing to fear. “I’ve already cleared that up, nau. It’s not a problem. It’s her, not you,” he assured. But Onyeka remained skeptical. “Doesn’t mean it will stop,” she responded, indicating her unease about how the situation could evolve.

Their conversation shifted to the interactions between Onyeka and the third party involved. “So what’s the gist? Did you guys cuddle?” Shaun asked. Onyeka quickly clarified, “We didn’t cuddle, we just slept on the same bed.” Shaun teased her about the situation, saying, “You guys are doing shift work, one day you, one day her.”

Onyeka pushed back, saying, “Not me ooo. If I don’t go to him, he’d come to me, so it’s quite different.” But Shaun pointed out that Onyeka had indeed approached him first. “Yesterday, you were the one that went to him,” Shaun noted. Onyeka explained, “Yes nau, because I needed company.”

As the conversation deepened, Onyeka revealed her frustration with how others might perceive the situation. “The most important thing is that nothing is going to happen between us, so I don’t know why anybody is putting two and two together. I don’t want to say too much until it starts to happen, because no matter what I say, everybody will say it’s a lie.”

Shaun agreed, noting that the real control lies with the third party. “That’s very true. The person in the driving seat is him,” he said. Onyeka added, “Yesterday, I cleared him nau. I told him, don’t worry, today is another Saturday night. His feelings always come out on Saturday night.”

She continued, “I said I will not talk; I will wait till when it’s out, then we’d discuss. It’s important for us to talk so we’d understand, but I don’t think he wants to understand. He wants it to keep looking like this.” Shaun acknowledged the game at play, saying, “It’s a game, nau, of course.”

Onyeka expressed her clarity on the matter, stating, “I’ve come to see what he wants.” Shaun observed, “He doesn’t want any, but he knows he’s here. It’s interesting.” Onyeka concluded that when the dust settles, they could discuss things properly, but for now, the so-called triangle was nothing but “nonsense.”

“The triangle, fam,” Shaun remarked. Onyeka scoffed, “It’s not a triangle, it’s an angle, but they are trying to force me into it. He asked me yesterday if I was jealous. I’m like, bro, did I even move that way? I’m going to be pulling away.”

Shaun, recognizing the cyclical nature of their situation, responded, “Pull away, come back, pull away, come back.” The conversation highlighted the intricate emotional and strategic dynamics at play, with Onyeka determined to distance herself from the drama while navigating the complexities of house relationships.
