KellyRae Opens Up About House Dynamics and Maintaining Peace

In a candid discussion with Fairme, KellyRae shared her thoughts on managing relationships and avoiding unnecessary conflict in the house. Reflecting on a recent incident, KellyRae explained why she felt compelled to address a situation that could have escalated. “If I donā€™t speak up, itā€™ll seem like Iā€™m ignoring it, and I had to say something, so I explained it to her yesterday,” KellyRae said with a chuckle.

Fairme inquired further, asking, “Did you call her later?”

KellyRae confirmed, “Yes, I talked to her last night. I told her that if you joke around a certain way with someone, and they assume thatā€™s how you always joke, it can lead to misunderstandings. I know her personality, and I knew she wouldnā€™t take it lightly. Thatā€™s what I explained to her.”

She went on to clarify her stance on another matter involving Toby. “It doesnā€™t concern me if she and Toby are closeā€”I have no problem with that. But the only time I cautioned her was when we were in the kitchen, and I saw her putting her leg on Tobyā€™s chest like she was about to climb on his back. I told her, ā€˜If the boy does the same thing to you, youā€™ll turn it into a quarrel.ā€™”

Fairme, understanding the context, added, “Because you know her kind of person.”

“Exactly,” KellyRae agreed. “And we all live in the same house. You canā€™t have an issue with someone and then put me on the spot. I donā€™t want to repeat what happened the day I got angry with Michky. Itā€™s not that we canā€™t get upset with each other, but you know how it isā€”if she has an issue with someone and I donā€™t step in, sheā€™ll turn it into something bigger.”

Fairme nodded, reassured, “I understand. No worries.”

The conversation highlights KellyRaeā€™s desire to maintain peace while navigating the complex relationships within the house. Her approach underscores the delicate balance required to coexist in a shared space without letting minor conflicts spiral out of control.
