Eloswag and Doyin Exchange Words over Task Preparation

Rachel pulled Doyin out for going to bed early and not telling her as she was waiting for her in an effort to put the finishing touches on their Weekly Wager Task. The two-time Head of House, Eloswag, was prompted by Rachel’s comment to engage in a verbal altercation on Doyin’s lack of team spirit.

The heated argument started when Doyin gave her fellow Housemates a little push-back after Sheggz who was part of Level 1’s debating team for the Afrofuturism Task fell ill. The scramble was on to cover Sheggz’s part and to develop a script around some points for the incumbent debate counterpart to recite. When a call was made for Doyin to chip in to which she retorted, “it is not my job to come up with anything. I have come up with my own, nobody assisted me!”

Rachel reminded Doyin that the only reason she ended up performing her part alone was because she went to bed last night without even alerting her, despite the fact that she was waiting in the lounge for them to work on the task. Doyin was irritated when Eloswag called her out on her lack of team spirit. Doyin swiftly responded to Eloswag’s claim, saying, “well, why are we wasting time bickering when we can start working on it?” Not willing to let the dispute end without making his point, Eloswag remarked to Rachel, “you should have told her yesterday before going to bed.” Doyin, refusing to back down told Eloswag that she can sleep whenever she wants and that no one can control that.

The debate between the two reached a fever pitch, prompting the remainder of the Level 1 Housemates who were nearby to intervene and calm the situation. After Chomzy attempted to get to the root of the ongoing feud between Eloswag and Doyin, Rachel was overpowered by the elevated decibels of Doyin and Eloswag’s voices. Doyin inquired as to why she was singled out for sleeping, to which Eloswag answered, “because you set the rule!” Doyin, who insisted on being the leader, was taken aback by his remark. Eloswag, Level 1 HoH, then yelled back, “Who is the leader? There is no one in charge!”
