Khafi Kareem Reveals Being Sexually Abused

In the midst of unrest and media protest against the assault, rape and killing of Uwa, a University of Benin student in a redeem church in Benin, Big Brother Naija star Khafi Kareem has revealed that she was also abused.

Khafi expressed frustration on how the issue of abuse on the girl child is handled which is one of the reasons many of the victims usually do not report and choose to live with it for the rest of their lives. She claimed she believed the abuse was due to the fact that the person involved was drunk and the only person she spoke to about the incident ended up blaming her.

She also gave some reasons why she did not report the incident to any of the law enforcement agencies. They reasons was that the guy apologized right after the incident and made her believe it happened because he was drunk.

This is what she wrote on her twitter handle;
