Housemates Who Broke Big Brother House Rules and their Punishments

In the course of their journey to fame, some of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemates broke some important rules in the Big Brother’s house and were fined accordingly. So far, here are the housemates and their fines.

On numerous occasions, the Lockdown Housemates have infringed on Biggie’s rules and right after they get called out for their infringements, they are back to it the next week. At some point, Biggie felt the Housemates just enjoyed watching videos of themselves breaking his rules because of how frequently it occurred.

Erica and Ozo Communication Infringement

If there was one rule the Housemates broke repeatedly, it was the one on illegal communication that included whispering and writing secret messages.

For some reason or the other, the Housemates felt the need to secretly communicate with each other and this was something the rule book clearly frowned upon.

Ozo and Erica were seen violating Biggie’s rules by whispering in the House. Ozo went even further to write a message on a serviette paper to Nengi. Even though it was a love note and may be deemed romantic, it was still against Biggie’s rule.

Kiddwaya, Erica and Tolanibaj Broke Head of House Rules

The Head of House came with certain privileges and also certain rules. Unfortunately, while they enjoyed the privileges, they also broke the rules. For defaulting on the sleeping arrangement which require the Head of House and the Deputy to sleep on the same bed, Tolanibaj got a Strike while Erica and Kiddwaya got a Strike for being in the Head of House lounge together long past regulated hours. Not only did they get Strikes, but they were also barred from partaking in the Head of House game.

The last thing you want to do is to be rude to the Host of the House you are spending time in. Some of the Housemates didn’t get this memo and they shot their middle fingers at their Host without a care in the world. There were also the fights in the House that raised eyebrows and got the Housemates involved severe warnings.

Neo and Vee goading, bullying and victimization

Neo and Vee have always had some form of altercation especially after Saturday Night Parties, but this time, the altercation took an ugly turn. Neo was found guilty of obstructing and restraining Vee when she wanted to leave the room after a disagreement.

Their actions over and over again, have shown a flagrant disrespect for Biggie’s house rules and because of this, they have to live with the consequences of their action. Fortunately, some of them have started paying closer attention to the rules of the House with Housemates like Kiddwaya reading the rule book religiously.  As the Housemates celebrate this week of kindness, we sincerely hope Ozo’s case will be the last we hear of rules getting broken.
