A high stakes pitch session decided who would escape this week's eviction list, as Barry's Head of House win came with a twist that locked him into the final.
The show is now in the eighth week and tensions remain high with the latest eviction of Abi and Araga. All remaining 12 housemates faced another round of nominations to reveal housemates who will be nominated for possible eviction this week. Here is how the nomination process unfolded.
Big Brother Naija 2026 Week 8 Nominations
This week, Big Brother decided to introduce a new twist to the nomination process. The Head of House was rewarded with the Ultimate Veto Power, which meant that the Head of House could influence the nominations. Barry emerged as the Head of House winner after edging past Keivo in the Head of House game.
Each housemate was given two minutes to pitch to Barry, the Head of House, explaining why they should be saved from the nominations.
HoH Ultimate Veto Power
The HoH holder Barry was required to save one housemate from possible eviction. He saved Aikou from the nomination list.
Also, for being the HoH Ultimate Veto Power holder, Barry was rewarded with a spot in the final and will also influence nominations in the coming week.
