Dede Express Disappointment Over Kola Attitude

Dede and Kola Confront Tension in Heart-to-Heart Chat

In a candid exchange that quickly drew the attention of other Big Brother Naija housemates, Dede Ashiogwu confronted Kola over what she described as his latest misstep.

“You’ve done something again, Kola, and I can’t help you if you don’t want to help yourself,” Dede began.

Kola, visibly confused, responded, “Please, what did I do? I’ve tried my best to be as calm as possible.”

Dede offered a mix of sarcasm and encouragement: “You’re doing amazing, sweetie.”

Trying to get to the bottom of the issue, Kola asked, “What did you hear? We agreed that whatever you hear, we’d talk about it together.”

Dede reminded him of their earlier pact: “We agreed that we wouldn’t discuss our matter in front of people.”

“I didn’t talk about you with anybody,” Kola insisted.

“Then why are you so worried?” Dede pressed.

Kola admitted, “Because I don’t want to lose the energy we have going on, and I’m trying my best to be in your good books. I’m trying to be a good boy with you because I’m enjoying this.”

Dede then revealed the source of her frustration: “You told housemates that, ‘It’s because I’m the only person in the house. If there were two of me, you’d probably not be this attracted to me.’ Why would you say that?”

Kola defended himself, explaining that the comment came after they had already reached an understanding. “All I’m trying to say is, you are the only person here I’m attracted to. If there was someone like you here and you weren’t close to me, maybe I would have considered but you’re the only one here for me, and I mean every word. I see others as friends. I don’t talk to other girls the way I talk to you.”
