Dede Opens up to Mide About Calling Jason a Fish- BBNaija Season 10

In a heartfelt conversation that laid bare the tension in the house, Dede told Mide there are only two people she cannot lie to herself and Mide..

“I was so close to saying, you know what, I can try. But no, no, no it’s going to come with restrictions like, ‘oh, you can’t talk to this person anymore,’” Dede explained. She admitted she longs for someone to confide in but said she and Jason want it in different ways. “You cannot get it the way I want it, and I cannot give it to you the way you want it. So it’s really throwing us off. Because if you want me to be your person as a friend of course, let’s do it.”

Mide responded calmly, “I get where you’re coming from, and I get where he’s coming from.”

But Dede went deeper, describing how after their talk, she just wanted space. “I was like, we can just sit for 10 minutes. But I feel like the more we sit, the more he’s trying to convince me, and I don’t want him to feel extra bad about it.”

She revealed Jason even questioned her decision: “He was like, ‘Dede, is this really what you want?’ I was like, ‘this is what we need.’ He said he was hurt by what Jason said at the arena, that at least he wasn’t the one making breakfast. And I’m like, chai, he’s working really hard.”

Mide, unimpressed, declared: “Right now, I’m not f*ing with Jason.”

Dede didn’t hold back either: “I swear, like… move ahead now, cause right now he’s just being annoying by the second. Do you know what’s crazy? You’re cool with the person that did something to you now.”

Mide hit back: “So you cool with someone that went and kissed someone and didn’t tell you—sleeping on her bed. But now…”

And Dede closed it off with sharp words: “Somebody calls you ‘fish’ and you’re telling the whole world there’s no feelings to it. Do you see how stupid you’re looking?”
