It’s always tricky when you’re caught between friendships, attraction, and the fear of crossing boundaries. Earlier today, Kola was complaining to Mide and bright about how Dede was angry because he accepted to stay with Zita in the HOH lounge yesterday..

Bright broke the silence first: “If Koyin picked her, would she even say no?”

Kola sighed. He’d already spoken to her; she had said Koyin wasn’t going to pick her, and if he did, she’d already made her stance clear.

But Mide wasn’t convinced. “If she’s actually sleeping in that room with Koyin, how would you feel?” he asked.

Kola hesitated. “I get it. But the dynamics aren’t the same.”

Mide pushed a little further. “Okay, forget Koyin. What if it’s one of her friends?”

Bright chimed in. “There’s a possibility something might happen between you and Zita and not Rooboy and Dede. Do you even like Zita?”

Kola shook his head. “No.”

But Bright pressed on. “You know what it’s like sharing a space with someone for a week. It can bring you closer in ways you don’t expect.”

Mide nodded in agreement. “It’s about being honest with yourself. If you want to sleep there for a week, or even just one night, do it. But if your heart tells you otherwise, follow that. Don’t do something just because it’s convenient.”

Kola explained that Zita had asked him if Dede was comfortable with the arrangement. He thought she was, but was she?

“Ask her what she really wants from you now,” Mide suggested.

“She said nothing,” Kola replied.

Bright added softly, “But you know Dede. Deep down, can we pretend we don’t?”

Mide asked again, “Does she actually want you not to go?”

Bright concluded, “Maybe let her see what she really wants. Be clear, but don’t assume.”
