Abi and Nomy’s Friendship Faces Fresh Scrutiny as Housemates Call It One Sided

Tram, Goddessa, and Chimsom Chuka weighed in on the fallout between Abi and Nomy, calling the bond fake even as the two later tried to make peace.

The tension between Abi and Nomy became a house wide topic on Day 28, with several housemates weighing in on what many now see as a broken friendship. Tram said he was relieved someone else had finally raised questions about the pair, calling the bond one sided and admitting he has never hidden his true feelings about Nomy since week one.

Goddessa offered a more detailed take, saying she observed that Nomy was only taking from the friendship, while Abi barely knew anything about her despite Nomy knowing a great deal about Abi. She said friendships don’t need drama to end and defended Abi’s right to walk away on her own terms. Chimsom Chuka joked that Nomy would make for an interesting week if she ever won HoH, while Tram admitted it unsettles him how Nomy talks to herself, calling it a little scary.

Tram went further, revealing he had once pretended to be impressed by Nomy’s business success just to make her feel good, only for her to later use that same comment against him during an argument, claiming he had been genuinely impressed after just one conversation.

Despite the criticism swirling around the house, Abi and Nomy sat down together later that night to talk things through. Nomy explained that she wanted Abi to help cut fish and felt hurt that Sheba, someone she isn’t close to, had stepped in instead. Abi told her she understood, but reminded Nomy that as her friend, she should come speak to her directly rather than assume. It wasn’t a full resolution, but it marked the first real conversation between the two since the silent treatment began.
