The results are in for the second week of voting in BBNaija 2024 season 9, and the outcome has decided which housemate pairs will stay and who will be leaving the Big Brother house. Following Monday night’s immunity challenge, Big Brother put all 11 remaining pairs of housemates up for possible eviction, leaving their fate in the hands of the viewers. The pair with the fewest votes would face eviction during the Sunday live show. Here’s a breakdown of how the nominations and voting played out:

In Week 2, 11 housemates pairs were placed on the chopping block, with the threat of eviction looming large. However, two pairs secured immunity from eviction thanks to their victories in the Custodian Challenge and the Immunity Challenge.

The Custodians (Streeze) were the first to earn safety, securing immunity for the week and exempting themselves from the nomination process. As part of their reward, they participated in the Custodian Lock-In, where they blindly selected a box or card with a special power that could influence either nominations or evictions. This power will only be revealed during the Sunday live eviction show.

Streeze (Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge) isn’t the only duo that avoided the nomination block this week. Mbadiwe (Ozee and Ocee) emerged victorious in the Immunity Challenge, ensuring their safety. Their impressive performance in the arena, where they excelled in a challenging obstacle relay requiring both teamwork and speed, earned them this crucial advantage.

With the immunity challenges decided, the remaining pairs were left at the mercy of the public vote. Fans were tasked with voting for their favorite pairs, and by Sunday night, the pair with the lowest number of votes was sent packing.

The winner of the custodian challenge was given a special privilege to influence this week vote result. The custodian Streeze was required to evict one nominated pair and they opted to evict Ndi Nne  from the Big Brother Naija house.
