Meet the BBNaija 2023 Top 6 All Stars (Finalists) Housemates
The final week of the widely-loved reality show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All Stars edition, commenced as Venita, Soma, and Angel bid farewell to the house on Sunday, September 25. This eviction left Ilebaye, Mercy, Cee C, Cross, Adekunle, and Pere as the remaining finalists. The show initially kicked off with 20 housemates and later welcomed four additional house guests, resulting in an array of conflicts, competitions, relationships, and captivating dramas.
As we eagerly await the grand finale scheduled for Sunday, October 1, 2023, Legit.ng presents an overview of each of the top six finalists.
1. Ilebaye – The Gen Z Drama Maven
Ilebaye secured her spot in the finals as she emerged as the Head of House during the reality show. Throughout her journey in the house, she frequently found herself entangled in various dramatic situations and was particularly renowned for her emotional moments. Prior to Tolani Baj’s departure from the house, she and Ilebaye engaged in heated confrontations, mainly revolving around their fellow male housemate, Neo. This marks Ilebaye’s first time reaching the finals, as she was previously evicted from the Level Up edition in 2022.
2. Cross Da Boss – The Immunity Strategist
Cross became the first finalist in the All Stars edition when he utilized 4,000 Moniepoint to acquire the coveted ultimate immunity pass. Unlike Ilebaye, this is Cross’s second venture into the final week, having previously finished in fourth place during the Shine Ya Eye edition. His stay in the house was highlighted by being the first housemate to bring food into the diary session and choosing only male housemates to accompany him in the exclusive lounge when he held the position of Head of House.
3. Mercy Eke – The Former Champion Aiming for Glory Again
Mercy Eke secured her position among this season’s finalists by receiving the fewest nominations during the last eviction nominations in the house. This marks Mercy’s second appearance in the finals, as she emerged as the victor of the PepperDem season. However, her status as a past winner sparked some viewer campaigns against her, with actress Anita Joseph defending her on social media. Notable moments in Mercy’s journey include her dramatic interactions with her ex-lover Ike and her close friendship with Whitemoney.
4. Cee-C – The Returnee Finalist
Cee-C became the third finalist in the All Stars edition during the final Black Envelope game within the house. She previously reached the finals in the Double Wahala season, and this presents another opportunity for her to clinch the title. Cee-C’s headline moments included a heated altercation with her fellow housemate Ilebaye, characterized by the exchange of harsh words. At one point in the house, billionaire’s son Kiddwaya even offered her N120 million to exit the show.
5. Adekunle – The Repeat Finalist from Level Up
Adekunle managed to evade eviction during the last elimination on Sunday, September 24, 2023, securing his spot as one of the top six finalists. Interestingly, both Ilebaye and Adekunle were participants in the Level Up season. However, unlike Ilebaye, this marks Adekunle’s second appearance in the finals, having finished in fourth place in 2022. He also had a prominent role as the first Head of House in the All Stars edition and was in the spotlight for his relationship with Venita.
6. Pere – The Multi-Faceted Contender
Pere, like Adekunle, earned his place in the finals after surviving the last eviction. This marks Pere as the second housemate from the Shine Ya Eye edition to reach the final stage this season. The actor grabbed attention when he punched a hole in the wall during a confrontation with Doyin, which nearly escalated into a physical altercation. Another significant moment was when Pere broke down in tears after the house’s parrots revealed certain comments made about him by fellow housemates.
