Niyi is a 33-year-old Oyo State computer engineer. He was once in the race to become a professional basketball player, but his dreams were swiftly dashed when he had an accident that resulted in sciatica.

Niyi came to fame following his participation as a housemate of the season 6 edition of Africa’s biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).

Big Brother Naija, formerly known as Big Brother Nigeria, is a Nigerian reality television series in which housemates live in an isolated house and compete for a large cash prize and other material prizes at the end of the show by avoiding being evicted from the house by viewers who vote for their favorite housemates to remain in the house.
