The Housemates spent the day with Pepsi proving their knowledge and having a good time.

With their Pepsi Task, the Shine Ya Eye geng amp up the enjoyment. It included a variety of enjoyable activities in which the House participated both as a group and individually. The Housemates were rewarded based on their point totals after completing the Task.

Pepsi Musical Chairs is a competition sponsored by Pepsi.
The geng had to separate themselves into groups as usual. This is how they categorized themselves.

  • Team 1: Boma, Nini, Peace and Jaypaul
  • Team 2: Saga, Pere, Emmanuel, and Yousef
  • Team 3: Cross, Saskay, Angel and Liquorose
  • Team 4: Micheal , Queen, Tega, Jackie B, and Whitemoney

The Housemates gathered in the main lounge after breaking into four teams to take part in the Pepsi Musical Chairs challenge. One person from each team danced around three chairs during the game. The Pepsi logo was emblazoned on one of the chairs. This game was played on behalf of their respective teams by Cross, Boma, Pere, and Michael.

Following a boisterous dance session, Michael was the lucky Housemate who got to sit in the Pepsi chair, earning 15 points for his side, while Pere and Cross received the other chairs, earning 10 points for their respective teams. Boma was kicked out after complaining about being assaulted and only scoring five points for his club.

Musical knowledge

The Housemates were put to the test on their knowledge of some of the Pepsi Music Stars and their hit songs for this task. Despite the fact that they were playing as a team, certain individuals of the team came out firing. Michael, Liquorose, Nini, and Peace all gave outstanding performances on behalf of their respective teams.

The Housemates’ knowledge of some of the Pepsi DJ ambassadors was put to the test in the final round of the first half of the Task. The teams were given cards containing statements that described the DJ and asked to name the DJ to begin the task.

Musical performance

The Task shifted from demonstrating musical expertise to demonstrating the Housemates’ ability to perform on stage. Each team was required to perform a song by one of the Pepsi music ambassadors in the Arena. They were only granted 60 minutes for rehearsals, and the geng was not amused. It was almost as though they were getting ready for a sold-out performance they were supposed to perform at. They didn’t take long to make their way to the Arena, where they put on a fantastic show. With their one-of-a-kind theatrical performances, all four teams brought the House down.

Team one, comprised of Boma, Peace, Jaypaul, and Nini, performed Tiwa Savage’s Kele Kele Love; Team two, comprised of Saga, Pere, Yousef, and Emmanuel, performed Burna Boy’s On The Low; Team three, comprised of Cross, Saskay, Angel, and Liquorose, performed Wizkid’s Ginger; and Team four, comprised of Whitemoney, Angel, Michael, Jackie B, and T
