BBNaija 2022 Housemates Win Wager Task for Week 8

The Level Up House has won their week 8Β Wager thanks to a presentation by Adekunle, Daniella, Dotun, and Sheggz. The Housemates and House Guests won the week’s Wager after presenting five art pieces built from recycled materials. The Green Earth is this week’s topic at Biggie’s House. It’s all about becoming green, using sustainable energy, and celebrating the Earth. With this in mind, the Housemates were instructed to make at least two pieces of art out of waste materials such as plastic, paper, and cans.

The Housemates promptly began preparing for their presentation by assembling the materials provided by Biggie to make incredible artworks. Rider Chizzy, who worked hard to put together a small House, was notable among these Housemates. Adekunle and Chichi were also seen hard at work on pieces that were meant to be included in the presentation. Chichi’s artwork, a balloon chandelier, did not make it to the presentation since it burst while it was still being built.

Despite Biggie’s request for at least two pieces of art, the Housemates appeared to be overflowing with creative ideas, as they produced five great pieces. The items included a recycling robot, a chair made of bottles, plastic turtles, a water filter, and an eco-friendly dwelling.

Aside from putting their art pieces together, the Housemates had to deliver a captivating presentation to explain their pieces, which necessitated proper rehearsals. Adekunle, Daniella, Dotun, Groovy, and Sheggz, the presenters, began with a mock presentation on Thursday and then had two different rounds of rehearsals today to prepare for their presentation.

Biggie called the Housemates into the Lounge to make their presentation a few minutes after they finished their rehearsal. The presentation began with Head of House Phyna making introductions before inviting Sheggz to speak about the recycling robot, which was inspired by Lagos street cleaners. His presentation was warmly received by his other Housemates, who applauded him, and by viewers, who praised him on social media.

Groovy spoke next about the ‘Bottle Chair,’ an art piece constructed of wood and plastic water bottles. The piece was inspired by the desire to demonstrate the utility of recycled materials, so safeguarding the environment from plastic waste.

Daniella was up next, and she gave a presentation on plastic turtles that Hermes had put together. The source of the plastic’s inspiration Turtles were used to emphasise hazardous waste in the water, which endangers the lives of both humans and wildlife.

Dotun was after Daniella, and he made a presentation about living in an eco-friendly home. He went over all of the home’s features and the materials used to construct them. Finally, Adekunle spoke about a water filter built entirely of recyclable materials.

Biggie kept the House guessing when he did not disclose whether or not they had won their Wager but instead asked Allysyn, Bryann, and Chomzy to provide their thoughts on the Task. All three of them gave the art pieces relatively excellent assessments, praising their ingenuity and use. Chomzy, on the other hand, stated that she would not pay to have them as artwork in her home since they did not appear to be nice enough.

Biggie commended the Housemates’ ingenuity and the usability of the things they developed after their evaluation. He then declared that they had worn their Wager, which was received with cheers.

This win means the Housemates and Guests will be rewarded with Pocket Naira for their shopping. We also hope that the win will signify an end to the constant food wars.
