The sixteenth day in the Big Brother Naija 2026 Season 11 Show Ya Sef house came with pressure from several directions. Following last week’s wager loss and the resulting food shortage, the housemates had little room for complacency.

New Head of House Neche immediately focused on the week’s wager presentation, but keeping everyone organised proved difficult. Meanwhile, conversations about relationships, nominations and the recent eviction continued to shape the mood in the house.

The housemates also took part in their first Guinness sponsored task, with Team Bold defeating Team Surge.

Here is everything that happened on Day 16 of Big Brother Naija Season 11.

8:00 am: Neche takes charge of wager preparations

Following the morning gym session, HoH Neche gathered the housemates and gave them time to eat, complete their chores and prepare for the day’s wager meeting.

Neche also confronted Nomy and asked her to join the others in cleaning the house. Nomy refused, explaining that she had already cleaned the bathroom as part of the punishment imposed on her by Big Brother.

With the wager presentation approaching, Neche made it clear that she wanted everyone to take their responsibilities seriously.

9:00 am: Tram questions Sheba about Araga

Tram confronted Sheba about her kiss with Araga.

He questioned why she had kissed Araga and teased her about Ricky. Tram also expressed disappointment, suggesting that Sheba no longer cared about him.

The conversation added another layer to the complicated relationships developing inside the house.

10:00 am: Sheba and Ricky share a flirty moment

Sheba and Ricky spent time together in the lounge while discussing the urgency of the wager task.

Sheba complained that her voice had changed after the previous day’s activities. Ricky, however, told her that he liked her voice as it was, describing it as cute and sexy.

11:00 am: Barry reflects on the evictions

Diary Sessions began as the housemates continued their wager preparations.

Barry told Biggie that Mercedes’ eviction shocked him. Although he felt Martins’ departure was more predictable, he did not expect Mercedes to leave.

He described her eviction as an eye opener because she had made a strong impression in the house.

Barry said he would have saved Cassi if given the opportunity. He also explained that he saved Keivo because of their friendship since the first week and Bluethopia because they had become closer.

Barry admitted that he sometimes feels like a third wheel around established friendships in the house. He identified Bluethopia and Neche as two people he had recently become closer to.

12:00 pm: Bells and Tram discuss the evictions

Bells reflected on Martins’ and Mercedes’ departures during her Diary Session.

She admitted that she had not been particularly close to Martins, but their final deep conversation made his eviction more emotional for her. Mercedes’ departure affected her even more because they had shared a room.

Bells said she saved Ricky, Sultex and Yusuf during nominations.

She also spoke about feeling like a third wheel in her friendship with Flora and Oyin.

Tram said he remained grateful for his Big Brother Naija experience. He admitted that Martins’ eviction did not affect him deeply because they were not particularly close, but he praised Martins’ contribution to the previous wager.

Tram revealed that he saved Sheba and Cassi because of their personal connections.

1:00 pm: Keivo and Araga clash during wager preparations

Tension surfaced during the wager preparations when Keivo and Araga disagreed over Keivo’s role.

Neche stepped in and reminded the housemates to respect everyone involved in the presentation. She stressed that there were no insignificant roles in the wager performance.

Meanwhile, Goddessa said Martins’ eviction was emotional because he appeared to have sensed that he might leave. She also described Mercedes as someone who had made a lasting impression on the house.

Yusuf said he continued to miss Martins, especially because Martins’ empty bed reminded him of their nightly conversations.

2:00 pm: Sultex and Abi discuss the evictions

Sultex told Biggie that Mercedes’ eviction shocked him, but Martins’ departure affected him more deeply.

He recalled an emotional conversation with Martins shortly before the eviction and said he had saved Oyin, Keivo and Bluethopia because they were people he felt comfortable with.

Abi also admitted that Martins’ eviction surprised her, particularly because of his effort during the previous wager preparations.

She said Mercedes’ departure was equally unexpected because Mercedes had shown her personality and abilities in the house.

Abi saved Bluethopia, Kamsy and Araga.

3:00 pm: Bells and Yusuf address their differences

Bells approached Yusuf in an attempt to resolve the tension between them.

She told him that she missed him and did not want them to become enemies. Yusuf, however, explained that he felt Bells had shown him attitude.

Bells said she had been dealing with heartbreak and needed time to heal.

The conversation eventually became a wider discussion involving other housemates. Yusuf maintained that he wanted their relationship to remain a friendship.

Bells also brought up a previous Truth or Dare conversation in which Yusuf described Neche as attractive, admitting that the comment had affected her.

Elsewhere, Goddessa advised Temi Nkem to stand up for herself and think carefully before reacting to situations.

4:00 pm: Chimsom Chuka and Bluethopia grow closer

During a break from wager rehearsals, Chimsom Chuka and Bluethopia shared a quiet moment together.

The pair lay on the couch and held hands while discussing the HoH Challenge. Chimsom told Bluethopia about how close he came to winning the latest challenge and explained that he believes in fighting for what he wants.

Meanwhile, Abi checked on Bluethopia after she complained about having a headache.

Wager rehearsals resumed, with Aikou serving as the narrator while Sultex coordinated the performance.

5:00 pm: Sultex seeks advice on the wager

Sultex consulted Sheba and Goddessa about the choreography and received suggestions on how to improve the performance.

He later showed Neche the movements he planned to perform before explaining Flora’s role to her.

Sultex also rehearsed with Keivo, Cassi and Chimsom Chuka.

Meanwhile, Sheba and Goddessa discussed Barry’s growing interest in Goddessa. Sheba joked that Barry was becoming a third wheel around Neche and Bluethopia and advised Goddessa not to encourage him.

6:00 pm: Food and relationship conversations

Abi prepared food for the housemates while several housemates relaxed.

Araga and Goddessa continued working through their relationship issues, communicating about the problems between them.

Sheba, Cassi, Barry, Gerard and Keivo also discussed food. Sheba revealed that she has been struggling with the amount of carbohydrates in her diet and joked about being willing to eat almost anything if she became hungry enough.

Flora and Oyin spent time together discussing the housemates and their individual support systems.

7:00 pm: Biggie introduces a Guinness sponsored task

After Abi served food to the housemates, Neche called everyone to the Main Lounge to read Biggie’s sponsored task brief.

The housemates were informed that it was time for their first Guinness sponsored task.

They were divided into two teams:

Team Surge

Team Bold

Barry assisted Neche by reading the task instructions before the housemates moved to the Arena.

8:00 pm: Team Bold and Team Surge battle it out

The sponsored task began in the Arena as Biggie explained the rules.

Team Bold took on the challenge first and completed their task.

Team Surge followed, but the team took longer than expected to finish, putting them at a disadvantage.

The competition created plenty of tension as both teams fought to secure the win.

9:00 pm: Team Bold wins the sponsored task

Team Bold emerged victorious in the Guinness sponsored task.

Team Surge was visibly disappointed with the result and began discussing what went wrong during their performance.

The tension continued when Temi Nkem withdrew to bed. Keivo checked on her, but she asked him to leave her alone.

Goddessa and Barry later checked on Temi and encouraged her to apologise to her teammates.

Meanwhile, Araga and Goddessa had another disagreement after Araga complained about Goddessa’s attitude following her team’s loss.

10:00 pm: Goddessa struggles with the loss

Barry, Neche, Cassi, Abi and Yusuf discussed the outcome of the sponsored task.

Araga later told Sheba that Goddessa had been cold towards him after the task.

Goddessa spoke with Sheba and admitted that losing had affected her emotionally. She said she was finding it difficult to celebrate Araga’s victory while dealing with her own disappointment.

Sheba explained that Araga had spoken to her about the situation.

Neche was also frustrated because some housemates were not responding when she called them together for the wager preparations.

She said she did not want to shout because constantly raising her voice was draining her.

11:00 pm: Wager rehearsals continue

The day ended with the housemates returning to their wager preparations.

Sultex, Yusuf, Chimsom Chuka, Gerard, Tram and Araga met separately as the directing team to discuss the presentation.

The remaining housemates took a short break before rehearsals resumed.

Keivo also explained the wager concept to Goddessa after she admitted that she did not fully understand the storyline.

Flora became frustrated with the slow pace of the preparations, saying she still did not know the dance properly.

With the wager presentation approaching, Neche faces the challenge of keeping the house united and focused. After losing their previous wager and facing limited food supplies, the housemates now have even more pressure to deliver a successful performance this week.
