Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Final / Closing / End Date for Season 6 is Sunday October 3rd, 2021

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season 6 reality show commenced on Saturday 24 July, 2021 and will end on Sunday 3rd October, 2021. The Final / Grand Finale will hold on Sunday 3rd October, 2021 at 7:00PM (+1 GMT) where a winner of the 2021 season 6 edition show will be declared. The show will premier for 72 days different from the previous seasons if all things worked as planned.

There are quite some changes in this season compared to the previous once. One notable change is the sponsor of the show. This year show is proudly sponsored by Abeg and Patricia. The previous season (season 5) was sponsored by BetWay. So, we may not be seeing housemates earning BetWay coins to fror their luxury shopping within the house.

There will not be voting through the SMS medium. All voting in this season will be online and on the DStv and GOtv mobile apps.

The winner of the 2021 season 6 edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show will receive a cash prize which will be higher than the N85 million naira won by Laycon, the winner of the season 5 show. Other gift items and endorsement deals will also be received by the housemates when they are out of the Big Brother Naija house. There are other changes which were put in place so that the show can hold in compliance with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) policies in containing the spread of the COVID-19.

In this regard, all housemates took COVID-19 test and were isolated for two weeks prior to opening the show. The housemate will also be restricted from having physical contact with people outside the house. All artist that will be invited during the Saturday night Party will also undergo COVID-19 test and self-isolate prior to their visit to the house.

Lastly, there won’t be audience present during the Sunday live eviction show. The Eviction show will take a different form this year and it promises to be exciting as usual.
