Chimsom Chuka Wins BBNaija 2026 Week 5 Head of House
A four round battle for power ended with Chimsom Chuka on top, while a silent envelope twist decided who the house wanted saved before eviction lists were drawn.
The fight for Head of House returned to the Arena on Day 29, and by the end of it, Chimsom Chuka had claimed the crown for the second time this season. Speed, accuracy, and a steady head under pressure carried him through four rounds of competition straight into the seat of power.
The challenge opened with Double Up and Match, where housemates dashed between hula hoops, grabbing colored balls and placing each one on its matching cone. The eight fastest moved on to Roundabout, a balance test that had contestants racing across the Arena while juggling three balls at once, including an awkward figure eight shaped gym ball. Chimsom Chuka, Sheba, Barry, and Gerard survived that round and advanced to Roll a Point, rolling tyres through the scoring doors of an upturned house to rack up points. Only Chimsom Chuka and Gerard scored high enough to reach the final, which came down to piñatas, hidden keys, and ten locked boxes, with just one holding the treasure. Chimsom Chuka found it first, sealing his second HoH win. Araga finished as the weakest performer overall, while Bells was disqualified and handed the Bench Warmer role for the week.
Before the Live Nomination Show, Biggie called the house back for another round of Conspiracy Hour, followed by an unexpected twist. Each housemate received an envelope bearing their own name and had to silently write down two people they wanted to save from possible eviction, unable to see what anyone else wrote and barred from saving themselves. During the live show, everyone held up their envelope, read out their two chosen names, and explained their reasoning to the house.
Immunity this week goes to Chimsom Chuka as Head of House, Abi as Most Influential Player of the Week, and Flora and Aikou as the Gambit. Chimsom Chuka also used his HoH veto to protect Sheba. That leaves Araga, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Gerard, Goddessa, Keivo, Nomy, Oyin, Ricky, Sultex, Temi Nkem, Tram, and Yusuf facing possible eviction, with Bells automatically included as this week’s Bench Warmer.
