Emmanuel and Peace Wins BBNaija Friday Abeg Task (Week 6)

This Task required luck, grit, and a little bit of strength to complete, and here is the breakdown of the Friday Abeg Task. Tonight’s Abeg Task featured four unique challenges that put the Housemates to the test on various levels.

Obstacle one

The Housemates had to walk on a beam to examine the image they had to replicate for a jigsaw puzzle as part of a memory test. While this exercise was simple at first glance, there was a lot more to it than meets the eye, and for those with the memory of a goldfish, overcoming this challenge was no easy chore.

Obstacle two

Monkey bar was a simple test of strength and fitness, and many Housemates benefited from their early workout sessions. The House had to swing through five bars on the monkey bars obstacle without putting their feet on the ground.

Obstacle three

Success Factors, From the bowl of keys, housemates had to locate a key that could only open one of the 39 padlocks. Housemates were free to utilize any strategy they thought would help them win.

Obstacle four

Housemates were asked to choose one random card from the cards placed on the stool for the Art Masterpiece. Each Housemate chose a card that matched to a paint number and a region or section of the artwork that they needed to paint.

To keep the Task interesting and competitive, Biggie let Housemates choose their sequence of completion via a lucky dip, and he also limited Housemates to only going through three Obstacles, with the Art Masterpiece being the only requirement. All three challenges have to be completed in under four minutes by the housemates.

Boma was the first to take on this Challenge, and his upper body strength carried him across the monkey bars, while his lucky chance at the Keys of Success provided him an advantage.

Angel, Liquorose, and Tega fought to get beyond this stumbling block, but their tenacious spirit kept them going until the Buzzer sounded. Despite the fact that they did not complete the job, they deserve credit for staying in the game. Jackie B and Peace were among the ladies that competed in the Art Masterpiece, but Peace stood out with an outstanding finishing time that landed her in first place.

With a brief swing at the monkey bars and a quick paint session at the Art Masterpiece, Saga put on a show. His timing was a whopping 01:26 minutes. We’re guessing his passion for exercise and art provided him an edge over the other guys. With such speedy movement and quick painting style, Emmanuel’s turn elevated this hurdle to the next level, and his time topped Saga’s run by 21 seconds, putting him in the lead.

The Winner

Congratulations to Emmanuel and Peace for winning tonight’s challenge. They will each get 250 Abeg Naira and 100 BB Tokens, putting Emmanuel’s BB Tokens in a tie with Jaypaul’s at 800 BB Tokens – they are just a few tokens away from obtaining the highly sought Immunity.
