Ngozi “Erica” Nlewedim is a 26 years old actress and commercial model from London, England. She is one of the housemates in the Lock down season 5 2020 edition of Africa biggest reality TV show Big Brother Naija. Erica is the name she goes by and she returned to Lagos after studying screen acting at the Met Film School in London.

Erica BBNaija Journey

Erica was once of the favourites to win this year’s show due to her beauty and large fan base. Her ordeal started when she was involved in a love triangle between fellow housemates Kiddwaya and Laycon.

She was disqualified from the show on week 7 after breaking multiple house rules following her abuse on housemates (Laycon and Prince) and mishandling of Big Brother’s properties. During her stay in the house, she won two Head of House game and few other tasks. See how she was disqualified here.

Erica’s Education

Erica attended secondary and university school in Nigeria. She had her secondary education at Command Secondary School in Ikeja, Lagos, and her university education at Covenant University, one of the finest Nigerian private universities in Ota, Ogun State. In 2013, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management. Erica returned to the United Kingdom in 2019 to pursue screen acting at the acclaimed London Met Film School.

Erica was born in Lagos State to Oby Nwokolo and Christian Eric Nlewedim. Erica is her parents’ only child. Erica grew up in Lagos by her mother despite being from Abia State.

Erica is a former beauty queen who placed 10th in the 2014 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MGBN) pageant. She quickly became a fan favourite due to her grace and enticing grin. Erica finally won the prize for “Most Photogenic” at the 2014 MBGN event.

Erica’s modelling career has flourished with her acting career. She has modelled for a number of Nigerian brands and appeared on a number of billboards throughout the country.
