Government Officials Are Not Bigger Than the Law – Laycon

Olamilekan Agbeleshe, alias Laycon, the BBNaija season 5 reality TV star winner, has spoken out against Twitter’s prohibition in Nigeria.

He has now joined the ranks of celebrities such as veteran actress Stella Damasus, Nollywood starlet Beverly Naya, veteran actress Ireti Doyle, and entertainment mogul Banky W in condemning the suspension of the microblogging platform in Nigeria.

In his words:

“Now if you can’t adhere to simple terms and conditions of an app, how you wanna actually obey the tenets of the constitution you swore to uphold. Don’t forget you are also a citizen so you are subject to the constitution too. You are not bigger than the rule of law.”
