Highlight of BBNaija 2021 Saturday Night Party (Week 8)

We enjoyed good music and great vibes from the Saturday Night Party.

This evening, DJ Nani and DJ Danny brought musical fire to the #BBNaija Housemates and us, bringing us through some of Africa’s most loved hits. With the House diminishing week after week and more space on the dancefloor opening up, the dynamic has shifted slightly, but we still believe in the power of music to keep a crowd close and entertained.

At the black and gold themed party, which was sponsored by My Patricia and Boomplay, the Housemates looked classy and lovely. The Housemates prepared and wore their wonderful clothing that suited the night’s theme, as is customary. The ladies wore apparel provided by 2207 by Tbally, whereas Yousef, Emmanuel, and Saga wore attire sponsored by Rogue NG, which made them look rich. Thanks to Looks Like A Good Man, Whitemoney, Pere, and Cross looked dapper.

The Ships were dancing hand in hand throughout the party, as we had predicted. Saga and Nini were joined at the hips once more, swaying left and right. They give us the impression that they only joined up for this season of Big Brother Naija to be each other’s dancing partners.

Emmanuel and Liquorose were grooving together, and Liquorose was giving out some of her strong dance moves and legwork while Emmanuel danced gently behind her, but we didn’t miss the time he showed off some of his legwork.

Yousef was in the middle of a dance with Angel. We caught him doing a Kung-fu inspired move, which assured us that he was in good spirits. Angel twerked away on the beats and didn’t skip a beat.

Whitemoney danced with Queen, his deputy Head of House, in a way that made it appear as if he was protecting her. We also didn’t miss the moment when Whitemoney’s body and mind were invaded by the beverage mogul when he performed his distinctive shaking dance routine.

Cross was dancing with Saskay at one point, taking us back to the first time they ignited dreams of a prospective Ship weeks ago. Based on his constant smile and later grinning at Saskay, who looked beautiful, he was also enjoying his reflection.

Pere was dancing and sipping the night away, appearing to keep his distance from any potential dance partners, but we all know how different the picture would be if Maria was around. When Yousef’s dancing partner, Angel, shared a booty-shaking moment with him, that changed. Angel also had a moment with Whitemoney; it was fascinating to see a House that is so tightly knit, with members who seem to get along swimmingly.
