Highlight of BBNaija 2022 Week 4 (Video)

For four weeks, 23 Housemates have lived in the Big Brother Naija houses. The week began with two Housemates in Level 2, Khalid and Ilebaye, who left the House graciously following the Sunday Night Live Eviction Show. Diary Sessions at Level 1 Housemates expressed astonishment that Khalid had been evicted, despite the fact that he was a strong competitor and a fun man.Daniella was devastated by the evictions, but she quickly recovered and began socialising.

After losing the Head of House Games on Monday, Level 2 Housemates are back on the Nomination list. Amaka, Daniella, Groovy, Kess, and Pharmsavi are all up for eviction. Eloswag reclaimed the HoH title, but his reign began in disarray. He urged Chichi to watch her tone when speaking with him when he was trying to ration the food after failing last week’s Wager Task.

That was not the only difficulty Eloswag will faced. He was observed speaking to Doyin in hushed tones about Task preparations. When the rest of the House was preparing for the Task Presentation, Doyin went to bed. Eloswag pointed out her lack of team spirit. This was not Doyins first time being called out for it. When Biggie gave the previous HoH Hermes the option of Nominating someone from the Level 1 House, he chose Doyin due to her lack of team spirit. Adekunle has also previously claimed that she simply comes to eat and not to cook.

Amaka, Groovy, and Phyna

Following their spat over Groovy, Amaka and Phyna had an opportunity to reconcile. Because of Phyna’s friendship with Groovy, the besties were engaging less. His and Phyna’s relationship has been intimate, with public displays of affection occurring on occasion. When they were talking about their ship, Groovy mentioned that the public display of affection is something he typically performs behind closed doors but is comfortable because Phyna is carefree.

After gaining the Tail of House title, Phyna had an interesting week. She was expected to speak in a strange language when Biggie cued the sound, in keeping with the weekly subject of Afrofuturism. This was a difficult task for her, and she had to move between languages and use sign language to communicate.

Fights

The week was not without vawulence, and for the first time, Adekunle was caught in the centre of two of them. He got into a fight with his arch-enemy Sheggz. Sheggz suspects Adekunle has a grudge against him and has been gossiping about him behind his back. When Sheggz branded Adekunle “dumb,” he became enraged and revealed a part of himself that had never been seen before.

He was seen arguing with Chichi, who dubbed him a pretender for offering comfort following the House switch. Deji was moved to Level 2 after completing a Secret Task given to him by Biggie during his Diary Session during this week’s Wager Challenge, which Level 2 won. He was supposed to gripe about his Housemates and say that he would be happier at Level 2. On Day 27, Biggie asked him in the Arena what he wanted, and he stated he wanted to move to Level 2, which he did. Groovy took his position at Level 1, and Phyna was consoled by her bestie Amaka. It’s a good thing the two got along.

Chichi was hurt that Deji was removed from Level 1, thus Adekunle’s perceived need to offer comfort. The gesture was not received well by Chichi, mentioning a Garden conversation where Adekunle said the Dechi ship would not sail. Being called a pretender did not sit well with Adekunle, and that solicited a reaction from him.

Saturday Night Party

This was a highly anticipated Party as it took place a night after Deji and Groovy were moved to different Houses. They both left the women (Chichi and Phyna) crying for them but quickly started getting acquainted in their respective Houses. Phyna was seen on top of Deji in the bedroom, and Groovy got a chance to talk to Chomzy.

Diana, on the other hand, was feeling conflicted about Rachel and Giddyfia’s closeness. It is no surprise then that she came for Rachel at the Party, calling her all types of insulting words, insinuating that she is making moves on Giddyfia. Giddyfia removed himself completely from the fight, and Adekunle and Doyin were the ones trying to intervene.

Sadly, it looked like Diana was coming for the wrong person, as Giddyfia spent a lot of his time dancing with Amaka. Amaka asked him if he is shipping with anyone in the House, and he said he is not with anyone, but later went to a livid Diana to try to speak to her and calm her down, but she was not having any of it.

Groovy was all about the vibes, as he kissed his girl Phyna, but later told Chomzy that Phyna is “like a mother to me.” This would make sense considering that Phyna was cooking for him earlier in the day because Level 1 Housemates are living on the bare minimum. Chomzy also placed Eloswag in the family zone, referring to him as her brother. We wonder how she would explain that truth or dare kiss she shared with her supposed brother, Eloswag.
