My Dad Took 14 Governors to London To Celebrate His 40th Birthday

Big Brother Naija lockdown housemate Kiddwaya has revealed that his father flew 14 serving governors to London in 2001 to celebrate his 40th birthday.

While speaking during this week wager task which require the housemates to make an art piece describing their super hero and what they learnt from them, Kiddwaya disclosed that one thing he love about his father Terry Waya is his willingness to always help people whenever he sees people in need.

He emphasized not coming from a less privilege background so his story is more of happiness other than sadness unlike most of the housemates. He continued that his father’s 40th birthday celebration caused him some troubles with the then sitting president, Olusegun Obasanjo.

He also disclosed not being close to his father and most of the things he knew about his father was from other people. He finds it very hard to have a long conversation with his father. Here is his words:

I learnt more from people about my Dad. He’s the calm one. Growing up, things weren’t difficult, he’s stubborn, runs away from home to do business. He ran away when I was 16, came back when I was 19, and bought my mom a house, and they’re doing great.

I don’t talk too much about my family, we’re strong people. We don’t show our emotions. My dad took 14 governors to London for his birthday, and that caused him a lot of problems. He’s been a leader. He’s always connecting and looking after people.

My dad makes people senators, governors, etc. I’m very lucky, privileged and I’m very grateful he’s been able to do a lot for me. I don’t show him appreciation enough, and if it wasn’t for him, I don’t know what I would have done. He’s a loyal man and would always have your back.

A certain top rank man got arrested at the airport and he bailed him out, that got him into trouble too. That’s why I do what I do, to mold myself into being my Dad. I can’t say more to avoid trouble, most time I forget the cameras. When we are out of here, I’ll introduce you guys to him.
