Neo Reveals Vee’s Attempt to Reconcile After Nine Months of Breakup
Neo Akpofure, known as Neo Energy, a participant in Big Brother Naija All Stars, has revealed that his former partner, Vee Iye, attempted to reconcile with him nine months after their breakup. Neo and Vee had a romantic relationship during the “Lockdown” season of Big Brother Naija, but their connection faltered following the show’s conclusion.
During a conversation with his fellow All Stars housemate, Pere, on a Tuesday, Neo disclosed that Vee made efforts to mend their relationship, but he declined her advances due to lingering resentment she held against his cousin, Venita.
Neo explained, “The issues Vee and I had were rather trivial. To this day, I’m unsure why it even turned into an issue, as it seemed more like my ex wanting to… Honestly, I might not have shared this before, but one of the reasons I couldn’t entertain the idea of getting back with my ex [Vee] was because, during our last conversation, which was nine months after our breakup, she was still talking about her ongoing dispute with my cousin.”

Continuing, Neo elaborated, “I thought to myself, ‘You can’t end our relationship and then try to come back while still holding a grudge against my family.’ I wasn’t willing to encourage a separation between her and her family. Her tone during the conversation was quite harsh as well.”
Neo further elaborated on his decision, saying, “I realized I needed to take a stance. Who knows how far our relationship could progress? We could potentially get married, and I didn’t want to marry someone who would create an environment where my family wouldn’t feel welcomed in our home due to her unresolved issues. In a marriage, you’re supposed to foster the growth of a new family, not tear me away from the one I already have. That’s the essence of it. So, I chose to let it go.”
