Regrets After the Pool Party — Mide Opens Up To Dede.

The morning after the pool party, Mide couldn’t hold it in anymore. She pulled Dede aside, her voice low but loaded with guilt.

Mide: “Bright and I… we did many things last night.” Dede raised an eyebrow.

Dede: “Things like what?”

Mide hesitated for a moment, then confessed.

Mide: “We were in the pool… and after the party, we kissed.”

Dede smiled. “Wow, that’s nice.”

But Mide shook her head. “It’s not nice for me.”

Dede leaned in: “Why?”

Mide: “There are so many cameras here. I’m scared they’ll show everything we did. I know I shouldn’t worry, but now I regret it all. I was tipsy last night, that’s why I don’t like drinking alcohol.” Dede tried to reassure her.

Dede: “Just calm down, okay?”

But Mide wasn’t ready to face Bright again. “I don’t want to talk to him until I feel comfortable. He wants to put me in trouble.”

Dede: “I understand you, but you just need to relax.”

Mide: “I am calm… it’s just that I’m ashamed.”

Dede gave her a soft smile. “Sorry, my dear. Everything will be fine. You two just need to talk.”

Mide: “Yes… but not now.”

Dede: “Okay, my dear.”

And that was the end of their quiet morning chat  a mix of confession, regret, and the heavy weight of knowing that sometimes, what happens at a party doesn’t just stay there.
