Tacha Launches Pad For Every Girl (PEG) Initiative

Tacha has launched a new initiative she tagged Pad for Every Girl. This initiative is aimed at providing immediate help to school girls who are not capable of affording a sanitary pad. The formal Big Brother Naija reality show housemate highlighted some of the changes young teenage girls go through therefore making most of miss school for at least four days in a month due to their inability to afford sanitary pad.

While launching the Pad for Every Girl initiative, she visited schools to organise lectures and also to distribute sanitary pads for school girls.

In her Instagram she wrote,

The lack of sanitary pads in a young girl’s life can lead to absence in school. Unable to afford these sanitary pads, some girls will often use tissue paper, rags or mattress pieces as supplements. PEG Pad For Every Girl under the Natacha Akide Initiative is here to STAY.
