Top 11 BBNaija 2022 Housemates Journey

Except for Level 3 House Guests Chomzy, Doyin, Eloswag, and Riders Chizzy and Rachel, there are currently 11 Housemates competing for the N100 million BBNaija grand prize when Season 7 concludes on Saturday, October 2nd.

Adekunle, Allysyn, Bella, Bryann, Chichi, Daniella, Dotun, Groovy, Hermes, Phyna, and Sheggz have all shown us distinct sides of themselves, and we look at some of the distinguishing characteristics that may have propelled them to this point.

Adekunle

Adekunle, as the oldest Housemate still in the house, has regularly provided older sibling feelings to the Level Up House. On Day 36, he chastised the Housemates for their lack of cleanliness. He was sick of cleaning up after everyone and threatened to place dirty dishes on people’s beds if they didn’t do what needed to be done. What could be more reminiscent of an older sibling than that, na? He is intelligent and one of the most competitive Level Up Housemates. Because of his competitive nature, he has held the Head of House title once and has consistently been a front runner during the Head of House Games and Sponsored Tasks. He also grew vocal about the food conflicts, threatening to steal food if he was not evicted.

Allysyn

Allysyn is a black and proud naturalist who is comfortable in her skin and loves female friendships. In the former Level 1, Doyin was her bestie and the mirrors they used for their sing-alongs and dancing could stand as a testament to their sismance. When the Houses merged, she formed a new friendship with Daniella which wasn’t technically her first. Allysyn and Daniella were roommates before the season started, and were brought back together by the merge.

Allysyn is not big on gossip and does not engage in active fights with people. She will step away from you if start gisting about others as she prefers vibes over gist. Her favourite pastime is laughing and she never takes things too seriously. She was more than happy to be the Level Up clown as the Tail of House.

Bella

Bella is a cute girl with a resting face and she no like stress. She is a princess, heavily guarded by her prince charming and prefers the soft life. She has impeccable taste in clothes and if it’s not designer, she is not wearing it. She no like stress until you come for her man, then the anger will be unleashed. On Day 47, Sheggz came to Bella’s defence because Bella requested beef and not chicken from Rachel. Sheggz called Rachel stupid for not knowing that Bella does not eat beef, and when Rachel’s voice escalated, Bella came for Rachel, ending in a plate of scattered rice. This fight led to a Strike for Bella and a warning for Rider Rachel. The prince defended his princess again on Day 52 when Phyna told Bella she is from the streets. The quarrel created a rift in Groovy and Sheggzs’ bromance after the two went at each other on behalf of their babes.

Bryann

The only thing that goes on in his head in the morning, afternoon, and night-time is music. He composed the former Level 2 jingle which has been stuck in the Housemates’ heads to this day. “Opor opor” and “shalaye no dey full basket” are still well-known jams and slang in the House. When a Sponsored Task includes a musical performance, you best believe that a Team with Bryann on it will bag it. This has been the case with the Close Up, Pepsi, Guinness , and Dano Milk Tasks. These Tasks required the composition of new songs and a performance of an existing one and Bryann served superstar vibes for all of them.

If he is not thinking about music, he is thinking about chow and sleep. On Day 53, Bryann told his fellow Housemates that he pretends to sleep to eavesdrop on people’s conversations. The man can sleep peacefully standing on his feet and does not have any problems falling or staying asleep. He has never officially been in any ship although he tried with Fake Housemated Modella.

Chichi

Chichi is a girl that has fought her whole life and is still bringing gbas gbos to the House. If she is not bringing vawulence, then she is bringing the real stripper vibe. In a swimsuit, Chichi can easily be the life of the party, but the afterparty is where the stripper vibes are unearthed. In a move that left Doyin and Dotun in shock, Chichi danced on top of Deji after their Day 20 Pool Party. She speaks her mind and does not care if her truth hurts you, is loud and loves her some gist. She found her dream man, Deji, and stayed loyal to him alone, even getting jealous when he shared his locker with Diana. She loves cooking and does not mind cooking for the collective, and will speak up about nonsense surrounding food.

Daniella

This spoken word artist enjoys profound conversations about the mind and psychology. She loves the idea of romance and love which has seen her in ships with two guys. She went full steam ahead with her ship with Khalid before his Eviction. Her ship with Dotun has remained at the port, even after the pair shared the HoH bedroom for a week. She is a smart girl, competitive and always gets far in the HoH Games and Sponsored Tasks. She loves God and will be found worshipping in her beautiful voice by herself in the House.

Dotun

He said he is bringing sexy vibes to the House and he has not disappointed. Dotun lives in the gym when he is outside the House and has not been shy to show off his healthy body. He loves music and dancing and always vibes with the girls and the guys. He has not made moves on any girl in the House except Daniella and has been heartbroken by her inconsistency. He has sat on the HoH title once and took the Task very seriously. Deji was his best friend in the House and has always stayed loyal to him until the end.

Groovy

Groovy is the House’s ultimate cruiser, getting into a relationship soon after entering the House. That ended on a bad note as Beauty was Disqualified, and he quickly got together with Phyna after Amaka expressed her interest in Groovy to Phyna. He looks good, dresses well, and only speaks when it is truly necessary, and when necessary, he will speak and speak and speak. Their ship has been rocky, but the two quickly reconciled.

Hermes

His competitive nature has seen him being crowned the HoH twice, and a front-runner for a lot of Tasks. He is the embodiment of uniqueness which is communicated through his choice of style, from his hair to his clothing. His ultimate uniqueness is expressed through his dance moves and his choice of English terminology, especially in the Diary Room when expressing matters concerning the collective. The lover boy is a polyamorist outside the House, and in a ship with another unique girl; Allysyn. The two have had an easy-going ship in the House, and although things have seemed rocky a few times, they always laugh their way back together.

Phyna

She came to the show to win and has been making sure that she shows up. She gets very disappointed when she does not perform well, even earning herself the Tail of House title for two consecutive weeks. Her first reward was talking in alien slang when a bleeping goat went off on the intercom. She did not adhere to this and Biggie gave her another reward; she would write down what she wanted to communicate on a whiteboard instead of talking. Her ultimate comeback was her recent win as the second female HoH in the Level Up House. She worked her way through two water Tasks alongside Daniella, Adekunle and Sheggz. Hers was the first HoH win the former Level 2 Housemates bagged.

She is a short-tempered lady and will come for you should you step on her toes. She is loud and true to herself and does not compromise who she is for anyone. She developed an unexpected romance with Groovy. Things have been rocky for them, but the two have maintained their ship that started from Day 21 until now, even with a few disagreements.

Sheggz

Fine London boy has loads of stories to tell about being in the land of the Queen. He has found the one that he wants to marry and will do whatever it takes to make it known, and defend her honour should anyone come for her. His ship with Bella sailed in the early Level Up days, and although many have speculated that his ship is a strategy, he has professed love for Bella. Their ship has not been easy but the two always apologise and move on.

He takes his looks very seriously and will hide a bad haircut so that he is not caught during a bad hair day. On their first visit to the Salon, Giddyfia gave him a haircut from hell, and he lived in a durag for days waiting for his hair to grow back. This may have contributed to him struggling with his execution as the Tail of House, where he was required to wear a clown suit. That got him another punishment as the House’s servant. He still struggled with this Task, earning himself a Strike for disobedience.

He speaks his mind and if he does not like you, he will let you know. Rachel knows all about that as the two were caught in a quarrel about food, and he spoke his mind about how he finds Rachel fake and annoying.

One of the above Housemates will be the Big Brother Naija Season 7 Level Up winner in a little over two weeks. Who is your money on? The countdown begins to when we will see who emerges victorious during the finale on October 2.
