In the world of Big Brother Naija, hesitation can cost you especially when love, attention, and competition are all tangled into one complicated house dynamic. And right now, Kola seems to be learning that lesson the hard way.

In a conversation that felt part intervention, part pep talk, Isabella and Kayikunmi didnt hold back as they urged Kola to stop dragging his feet when it comes to his feelings for a fellow housemate before Jason Jae swoops in and makes his move permanent.
“As slow as you’re moving, she’ll go with Jason,” Isabella warned bluntly. “Because he’s coming fast. You’re taking your time, and so is she but Jason? Jason is speeding. Do you get my point?”Kola, clearly defensive but still uncertain, tried to explain his side. “I only slowed down because she kept saying, ‘All the guys are talking to me.’ I didn’t know it was a full-blown competition.”
But Isabella wasn’t buying the cautious act.“She’s like a doll always dressed up, always looking pretty. Of course people will gravitate toward her. It’s not shocking that Jason is trying to lock things down.” Kola wasn’t ready to throw strategy out the window just yet. “So you want me to now use Jason’s style and start playing games? That doesn’t make sense.”
That’s when Kayikunmi jumped in with his own brand of tough love. “Bro, seize the opportunity. The way Jason dey carry her go one corner, if you get the chance, secure your own corner. You too, go there.”
Isabella nodded in agreement and said “Exactly! Because anytime you’re with her, Jason is lurking trying to make an appearance.”
“And the guy go even wage you,” Kayikunmi added. “He’s already done it. That’s how you know he’s serious about taking his chance.”

Kola, clearly frustrated, replied, “That’s what I’ve been saying, but no one’s hearing me.”

But Kayikunmi wasn’t letting him off the hook. “Then talk. Let people know you’re serious. Say you’re talking to her. Claim it.”

Isabella brought it home with a dose of real talk.“Just be direct. Say something like, ‘Give her a minute,’ or ‘I need to talk to her.’ Don’t be tiptoeing around. Are you not a man? That’s why I said talk to her. Let her know how you feel. Say yes or no and keep it moving.” Kayikunmi echoed the sentiment. “She might already assume you like her based on your vibe, but if you don’t say it out loud, it’s not clear. You need to say it: ‘I like you.’’ ‘I’m feeling you.’ Be clear.”And in true Isabella fashion, she delivered the final push “If Jason is operating at a level 10, at least get to 8 or 9. Don’t be moving on level 2. This isn’t the time for slow-slow!”
