Ultimate Love Benin Kingdom Coronation Ceremony Display by Love Guests

The Ultimate love guest once again displayed the coronation ceremony of the Oba of Benin Kingdom according to the traditions of the Benin people.

For this week’s cultural performance, the Ultimate Love Guests each had to perform a role in a successful coronation of the new Oba of Benin Kingdom. From the monarchs to the Imam and Priest, you bet they all killed their individual roles; even the Oba’s guards and silent Queens were not left behind.

Our resident monarchs did not fail to show us some royalty drip – Arnold repping the Ooni of Ife with his beautiful wife Nkechi; the Emir of Kano represented by Kachi, Chris Ville representing Governor Godwin Obaseki, Louis being the Imam, Jerry the Priest (who seemed to have forgotten the Lord’s Prayers) and of course our able Oba, Obichukwu.

After a successful presentation featuring the dance performance, opening prayers by the resident Imam and Priest, recognition of dignitaries, tributes by monarchs, the newly crowned Oba of Benin gave his speech and appreciation.
