Ultimate Love Sunday Live Show Today 25th March, 2020 (Week 7)
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the organizers have decided to join the fight against the spread of the virus. This has prompted the rescheduling of the grand finale for Sunday, 29th 2020. Due to this development, an eviction show was organized for Wednesday 25th March. In this show, two couples got evicted.
Ultimate Love Week 7 Eviction
Obichukwu and Ebiteinye of OBIEBI and David Wilson and Presh Talker of PRESHDAVID of Ultimate Love Couple have been evicted from the Ultimate love show from the results of the week 6 (Round 4) voting polls. Their eviction came as they got the least number of votes from viewers after their nomination for possible eviction.

Luck fell on Jeriton as they declined the new portmanteau offered to them on the Live Show and decided to go home with the portmanteau given to them in the Love Pad. Their decision got them a whopping reward of six hundred thousand Naira (N6000,000) cash, courtesy Aunty.

Despite having coupled up quite late, Jeriton tried their very best.
After hearing that they are Checked Out, a visibly shaken Meriton confessed to the Host, Oluwaseun: “I’m not feeling okay but it’s okay so I’ll be fine.”
And while it wasn’t a popular choice, Jerry continued to be honest on stage: “I like Meriton, I like her spirit I like her vibe. She’s a good person. And I enjoy her company. And like I said to Aunty, I don’t want to fake anything. I want it to come from within. And I want it to be real because we are talking about the future. And it takes two people to mingle, it has to be mutual. And I kind of respect the fact that she opened up to me from the first day we met and when we went on our Monday mission so we are kind of on the same page with the way we feel about each other. For me she is my very good friend which I will love to know better.”

Who Got Evicted Today?
From the results the couple with the least number of votes have been evicted from the show. The couple Micherry (Michael and Chivia) got evicted today

Tonight, Michael and Cherry became the Ultimate Love Couple to leave Aunty’s Love Pad on this show. They came for the same goal and we couldn’t be more proud of their journey towards finding Ultimate Love. They may not have emerged as the winning Couple of the Season but their love is definitely one for the books.
With Cherry launching the Live Show microphone, the pair expressed their joy and gratitude for the opportunity to find each other in the Ultimate Love game. When asked about their thoughts in the Love Pad, Michael said everything that happened to him during his stay was so real for him, especially finding true love in Cherry.
Michael revealed that he had an initial connection with Bolanle; however, due to tribe and age differences, their ship did not sail.
The Portmanteaus game
After their chat with Dakore Akande, MiCherry got ushered in by Oluwaseun P to play a jeopardy game, where they got to either pick a portmanteau or to retain the one they brought from the Love Pad.
After deliberating, the pair ended up going with their original portmanteaus which revealed a cash prize of three hundred and fifty thousand Naira. This gift aims to serve as a supporting glove for the lovely years ahead for the Couple. We’ll miss MiCherry but we can’t wait to see their love soar even outside the walls of Aunty’s Love Pad.

Each couple nominated two couples for eviction from the show come next week.

Today’s show will feature all three new love guests (Chris Ville, Chiddy Bankz and Meriton). The new love guest will who they are willing to be paired with to form Ultimate Love couples.
So far, we have seen some connection between Chris Ville and Chris, Chiddy Banks and Sylvia. Meriton is still undecided as she is drawing attention from Jerry and Louis.
The show will also feature couples that will be nominated for possible eviction. Each couple will be given the opportunity to nominate a couple that should be evicted. Couples with the highest nominations will be place on eviction where viewers will be allowed to vote their favourite couples nominated for eviction to avoid eviction from the show. Couples with the least number of votes will be eliminate from the show come on Sunday.
It was a rollercoaster of a Saturday for the Love Guests as they went from tears after watching messages from their parental figures; to absolute joy as they showcased the diversity of Nigerian culture in Aunty’s task.
But it all came full circle as Aunty announced later in the evening that they had just 15minutes to solidify their final pairings and reveal their choices.
While the announcement caught the Love Guests off guard, it appeared they all were somewhat sure of who they would like to be with and most of the couples seemed to be in agreement that things would stay the same.
Of course the likes of Sylvia and Jerry were resolute in their decision to move on and rather pair with Chiddy Bankz and Meriton respectively. While Chris made a pact with her namesake, Chris Ville, to give love a go and try make things work.
Time however has shown us nothing is set in stone till Aunty gives it her stamp of approval so we’ll have to wait till Sunday live show to view the final pairings for the season? Do you think there will be any last shockers? Watch out.

The ultimate love show is currently on and the the guest will be live today in the Check out show. The ultimate live Check out show will start today by 7:30pm/20:30 CAT on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29 (Channel 129 in Ghana and channel 329 in Uganda).
Today’s show will will feature all the guest and the partner they have chosen to continue the show with. There is an intense tension in the love pad as guest are left with the ultimate decision to choose their life long partner. There won’t be any room to change a partner after choosing one.
Stay tuned and watch who each love guest will choose as their partner.
After the one week of the show, here are the Couples that have been nominated for possible eviction from the reality TV show. In Ultimate Love Nigeria Show, Viewers are required to vote for their favourite Couples to avoid possible eviction. Couples with the highest number of votes will remain in the show, while those with the least number of vote will be evicted from the show. The show will run for 8 weeks and during this period, viewers will vote for their favourite housemate weekly.
After some private sessions with Aunty which you can view exclusively here, our Love Guests Nominated the people they wanted to pursue forever with before getting Coupled up. Possibly the biggest shock of the night was David Wilson coupling up with Presh Talker instead of Rosie who he’d been quite close and intimate with for most of the week. They even shared a passionate kiss. It was clear immediately that she was devasted by the betrayal.

Aunty’s World Challenge
Aunty later entered the Love Pad to confirm that ChrisUch, PreshDavid and Jervia had the most Nominations of all the Couples and that she’d be sending ChrisUch & PreshDavid on her Real World Challenge the next day (Monday). The couple that worked best together would then be saved while the two who didn’t fair so well would go up for the public vote alongside Jervia. In a move that shocked everyone, Uche suddenly declared that he wanted to Checkout and wasn’t happy with the “environment” anymore. Aunty had to remind him that he hadn’t seized the opportunity to do so during the Live Show then asked him to sleep on it before they deliberate in the morning so as not to do anything rash.

What is the Ultimate Love reality TV show?
Ultimate Love is a first-of-its-kind reality TV show created by MultiChoice. It involves single male and female strangers living together in an isolated location with the hopes of finding life-long love. They are paired based on their mutual attraction to one other and will compete for who emerges as the ultimate couple. The couples will interact daily with a counsellor referred to as ‘Aunty’ as they embark on their journey to love.
Is this like a match-making or dating game show?
Ultimate Love is not your average dating game show. This show digs deep into the rich and diverse cultural norms and nuances in Nigeria. It aims to showcase relationships and highlight topical areas such as courtship, traditions & practices, values & morals, and societal challenges. The show will also seek to change the narrative about love & marriage in contemporary times.
What is the grand prize for the winning couple?
The winning couple will be rewarded with a lavish traditional wedding ceremony and a house – if they commit to getting married. They will also get a cash prize of N5 million.
What is the Love Pad?
The Love Pad is where the contestants are housed. In there, they will be continuously monitored by live television cameras and personal audio microphones whilst they carry out daily tasks, compete in weekly challenges and perform other themed activities.
Where is the Love Pad located?
The Love Pad is within a specially built ultra-modern facility located in Nigeria.
Who is ‘The Aunty’?
She is the central figure on the show. She serves as a mentor and coach and is often the voice of reason as the love guests will get to see her and interact with her in the Love Pad. Her job is to help them find their perfect partner and provide them with counsel where necessary.
Will Aunty be in the Love Pad 24/7?
No. She will only be in the Love Pad at specific times. However, the contestants will be able to communicate with her at any time through a device kept in an area known as the ‘Mail Box’.

Who is the ‘Parent Figure’?
Each contestant will identify a Parent Figure before they enter. This Parent Figure will be their confidant throughout their stay in the Love Pad; someone they can trust and connect with outside the house for relationship advice and guidance. This Parent Figure will not only be their shoulder to cry on, but also the ever-watching critical ‘parent’. If they don’t like what they are getting up to in the Love Pad, they will let them know.
What is the Chat Room?
The Chat Room is a secluded area of the Love Pad where the contestants will be called into at a set time throughout the week. In there, they will be able to ‘communicate’ with their loved one(s) and their parent figures in the outside world. However, they will be given three options on how to do so
How long will the winning couple be given to get married?
The winning couple will be given six months after the show to consolidate their marriage plans. They must also have stayed together for one year after marriage to win the house.
What if the winning couple decides not to get married?
If this happens for whatever reason, they will forfeit the traditional wedding and the house but will still get the cash prize and other prizes.
What makes Ultimate Love unique?
The integration of the outside world. We allow the contestants access to the outside world, through the Real-World Missions, Parent Figure, and Chat Room.
The Chat Room is a space that is utilized frequently for the residents to reach out to the outside world.
The Parent Figure is a real-life person, selected by each resident, to support and provide guidance throughout the residents’ stay in the Love Pad.
Nominations and Eliminations are conducted on the same evening (Sunday Live Show) with the final nomination list announced Tuesday night.
Local culture is integrated throughout the show.

When and where did the auditions hold?
The first round of auditions held online from 22 November to 5 December 2019, followed by physical auditions in Port Harcourt (6 & 7 December), Abuja (9 & 10 December) and Lagos (12 & 13 December).
Who qualified for the auditions?
Auditions were open to Nigerian men and women aged 23+ who are single, searching and open to the adventure the show will bring.
What will the contestants be called?
They will be referred to as ‘Love Guests’.
How many love guests will be on the show?
For the maiden edition, 16 singles – eight men and eight women. After two weeks of getting to know each other, they will form couples and remain together for the rest of their time on the show. However, twists and surprises can be introduced at any time as it is a reality TV show.
How will the love guests be eliminated?
Viewers will get to vote off their least favourite couple every week. The elimination process on the show is referred to as ‘Check-out’.
Will the love guests be able to contact their families whilst inside the Love Pad?
Yes, inside the Chat Room. The Chat Room will present the contestants the opportunity to have a one-way communication with their loved ones outside the Love Pad. However, they will be given options on how to do so.
What kind of activities will they be involved in?
Each day will be structured with routine jobs and challenges, all designed to help the singles find the perfect partner and then to put that new-found love through its paces. The core themes throughout the show will be LOVE and CULTURE. These themes are the fabric of the house and will be woven throughout the weekly challenges that the couples need to participate in.
Will the cameras capture the love guests in every area of the Love Pad?
Yes, with exceptions to the toilet and bathroom facilities.
What are the general rules of conduct for Ultimate Love?
The love guests will be given a rule book which they must adhere to. Some of the rules include zero tolerance to violence, non-use of abusive language and what items they can bring into the Love Pad.
